Same AnyDesk ID with a cloned Hard Drive

If you clone a hard drive or use disk images with an operating system and preinstalled AnyDesk, you may encounter the problem that AnyDesk uses the same ID/Alias.
This leads to connection problems because two or more systems will use the exactly same AnyDesk ID. To force AnyDesk to create a new unique ID/Alias you can solve this issue by following these steps:

  1. Stop the AnyDesk service completely
  2. Delete the file system.conf (this file can be found in the same directory like the ad_svc.trace)
  3. Start AnyDesk.
