GeneralIf you want to transfer a file you can copy and paste it between different computers just like any local file. Copying files without desktop access ("file only" view) is planned for the future. Transmission of image data has priority in AnyDesk. This means that the files are copied faster if the desktop image does not change significantly.
File Transfer Windows to Windows
The file transfer between any Windows versions is made by copy the file to the clipboard (ctrl+c), mark the target folder and paste (ctrl+v).
File Transfer Windows to macOS
File transfer during a running session from Windows (any version) to macOS is done by copy the file to the clipboard in Windows (ctrl+c) then switch to the mac and move up the session window. There is a small file icon. Click it to initate the transfer. See the picture below.

Copy the file to the clipboard and use the file icon located on the session window an the other mac to initiate the file transfer. See the picture below.

Disable File TransferYou can disable file transfer in AnyDesk completely by disabling clipboard transmission in the security settings ("Access my computer's clipboard").
During a session, you can disable the clipboard file transfer temporarily. If you are connected somewhere, please use the main menu. If someone is connected to your computer, please use the security checkmarks in the incoming session window.
