On Windows 8 and higher, AnyDesk should consume no CPU time when the desktop image is still. If this is not the case, please contact support.
For high frame rates (for example video playback), AnyDesk will use all resources it can get.
On Windows XP and Windows 7 with disabled compositing (Aero colour scheme), AnyDesk needs to consume CPU cycles even when the image is still. It is recommended that you enable the Aero colour scheme. On Windows XP and Windows 7 without Aero, you can install a mirror driver. If this driver is installed, AnyDesk will not comsume any CPU time when idle.
