          In this case, AnyDesk does show the user a warning for 10 seconds. It also blocks it to hit the accept button.

              This is normal and wanted behaviour of AnyDesk. We dont create the alias based on a machine ID or anything, but everytime you install AnyDesk on a freshly installed system it creates keys which identify you and your alias. If you want to prevent a new ID everytime, backup the ~/.anydesk directory (especially the .conf files) and drop them there again before the first start of anydesk. This should backup your ID.

                This function comes with the new adressbook. You get the adressbook when buying a license of AnyDesk.
                The free version of AnyDesk does not have this feature.

                  Hi. Can you send me the anydesk log so I can look into this issue? You can find it in ~/.anydesk/anydesk.log. Please strip all personal informations from it (ID and Alias) before sending.

                    Please tell us exactly what isnt working. FreeBSD does not have an installer, its the program binary directly. Please post the logfile located in ~./anydesk/anydesk.log. Also make sure you have a mounted procfs and mouted mqueuefs.

                            Could you provide the version of anydesk you are using? The 100% bug should be fixed since 2.3.0. Thanks for the library informations. We will investigate this issue.

                              @Tyrone Lucero: The .tar.gz is not statically linked, its also dynamic. GTK is fully backwards compatible inside a major version, so a GTK Version cannot be too new (the otherway around could happen).

                              Hi, thanks for reporting. Are you using the newest Version of AnyDesk (2.3.1)? As there were many problems resolved regarding GTK2. If yes, please provide the logfile generated by anydesk (~/.anydesk/anydesk.log). You can clear out all personal Informations such as ID and Alias, etc.

                                Hi. Thank you for reporting this issue. Could you provide us the versios of both Xorg server, the distributions you are using and the logfile from both machines (located in ~./anydesk/anydesk.log).

                                      Sie können übrigens dem Ferngewarteten die Maus- und Tastaturkontrolle für die Dauer der Sitzung ganz entziehen (sofern er diese Funktion in seinen Einstellungen zugelassen hat).
                                      Wir arbeiten an einer Funktion, dass der Ferngewartete auf etwas zeigen kann, während der Steuernde ihm die Kontrolle entzogen hat.

                                        Die nächste Version wird eine Option enthalten, sämtliche Einstellungen zu löschen. AnyDesk bekommt dann eine neue ID zugewiesen.
                                        Wir arbeiten an einer Lösung, die von Scripten aus nutzbar sein wird, um das VM-Problem automatisiert zu lösen.

                                        Sie können durch Deinstallation und durch Ankreuzen der Option "Einstellungen Löschen" bei einer neuerlichen Installation erzwingen, dass ein neuer Alias registriert wird.
                                        Dieser Vorgang wird in einer der nächsten Versionen automatisiert durchführbar sein, um die Arbeit mit virtuellen Maschinen zu erleichtern.

                                          Yes we are using connect tunneling, but it should only use port 80 or 443 for this. This could of course still be problem, but I suspect that most proxies interfere because they either dislike our certificate or because they try to intercept traffic and our client won't allow that.

                                          In the meantime I've set up a proxy server with Microsoft Forefront TMG (which does TLS inspection) and hope to reproduce this problem soon. I plan to implement a more sophisticated proxy support, which tries to emulate regular HTTP traffic (using GET and POST). This will probably satisfy proxies that do deep-packet inspection and stop them from trying to man-in-the-middle our connection (which they won't understand anyhow).

                                          I can't give you a concrete timeframe, because there is also a whole lot of other stuff to do, but I will try to keep you posted.

                                          The problem seems to be the same for the reports we have received. The proxy connection is established (and authenticated), but the TLS handshake over the proxy connection fails with a timeout. Unfortunately I'm not sure why.

                                          In order to reproduce this on our site, it would be very helpful if you could tell us which proxy server software you use. Does it perform deep packet inspection? Are there related errors or warnings in the proxy server log files?

                                          @Andi: the server certificate is issued by our own CA, which isn't recognized by your browser, but will be recognized by AnyDesk. Normally this shouldn't be a problem. It *might* be a problem, if the proxy performs deep packet inspection and checks the certificate itself. However in that case I would expect the proxy to close the connection, which doesn't seem to be the case.

                                          Thanks for your feedback. Could you mail us a copy of your trace files to support@anydesk.com? These files contain technical information which can help us to track down the problem. To open the folders which contain the trace files, select "About AnyDesk" in the main menu. In the about tab, click "Send support information...". Two folders will open. Select the ad_svc.trace file and attach it to the mail. Thanks in advance.

                                          AnyDesk by default already tries to find a proxy using the IE connection settings and WPAD. I think it probably finds the proxy, but something else goes wrong.

                                            Sie können Dateien und Text einfach über die Zwischenablage kopieren und auf dem anderen Rechner einfügen (strg+c auf dem einen PC und strg+v auf dem anderen). Funktioniert in beide Richtungen.
