Both clients can set Permissions prior or during session. The incoming client is being viewed and controlled. Next to the options available in the Accept Window on the incoming client and the Main Menu in the Main Window of the outgoing client, standard permissions are set in the security tab of the settings for each client. The accept window at the incoming client side on session request displays information of the requesting client together with the permissions granted.

incoming client permissions:

  • Mouse & Keyboard
  • Clipboard Sync
  • File Manager
  • Sound
  • Lock Screen afterwards
  • Session Recording

General Menu

Main Menu of the Main Window to confirm permissions

The Main Menu in the Main Window of the outgoing client let confirm the allowed permissions of the incoming client.

Note: To take effect, both clients have to enable the respective feature. Permissions in this menu will only show up during session. Options not available or denied by the remote client are grayed out or show the denied symbol.

  • Transmit sound

In the Security Tab of the Settings, additional permission preferences can be set:

  • Hear my output
  • control my computers keyboard and mouse
  • access my computers clipboard
  • lock my computers keyboard and mouse
  • restart my computer
  • use the file manager
  • lock desktop on session end
  • request system information
  • show a coloured mouse pointer when physical input is forbidden
