# Can the AnyDesk client be used as a portable application?

Yes. AnyDesk can be used as a portable application without installation.

The portable version:

- Runs directly after download
- Does not require installation
- Is ideal for quick support sessions

For additional features such as Unattended Access and system integration, a full installation is recommended.
