# Do I need to be at the remote device to start a session?

No, you can enable [**Unattended Access**](/v1/docs/unattended-access) by setting a password. This allows you to start a remote session without someone being present on the other side.

A feature that allows connections to a remote device without requiring manual approval on the other end, enabling access using just a password.
