# Can I restrict connections to specific AnyDesk IDs?

Yes, you can restrict connections using the **Access Control List (ACL)** feature. Combined with a [**custom namespace**](/v1/docs/anydesk-id-and-alias#custom-namespace), this allows you to limit access to specific AnyDesk IDs or aliases.

A security feature that lets you define which AnyDesk IDs or Aliases are allowed to connect to a device. All devices outside of your Access Control List are automatically blocked.
