# What does “managed device” mean?

A Managed device is a device with AnyDesk installed that can be accessed through Unattended Access.

That means no one needs to accept the Session on the remote side; you connect using the configured password instead.

A device with AnyDesk installed that can be accessed remotely with Unattended Access, meaning no one needs to accept the connection on the remote end. Only a password is needed to connect.

A feature that allows connections to a remote device without requiring manual approval on the other end, enabling access using just a password.

A session is a screen of a device shared within a concurrent connection. You can create a connection with a remote device, and you can create another session with the same remote device. Each opened window on the connected remote device will be displayed as a separate session. In AnyDesk, session is represented in separate windows on Windows and in tabs on Mac.
