# What does the "Register License Key" banner in the portal mean?

The **Register License Key** banner indicates that your license has not yet been registered to an AnyDesk client.

To register your license:

1. Sign in to [**my.anydesk** **II**](http://my.anydesk.com/v2)
2. Copy your license key
3. Open AnyDesk
4. Go to **Menu → Change License Key**
5. Paste the license key and complete the registration
