# Why can’t I connect to multiple sessions at once even though I have several devices registered?

The number of devices registered to your license is different from the number of **simultaneous connections** included in your plan. Even if multiple devices are registered, the number of active sessions you can run at the same time depends on your license's Concurrent Connection limit.

> [!NOTE]
> 🦉 For more details, see [**this article**.](/v1/docs/what-are-concurrent-connections)

These are connections that happen at the same time. If multiple people on your team need to connect to different devices simultaneously, each person would use one concurrent connection.
