# Why does my license still appear as expired after renewal?

If the renewal is complete but the Client still shows **License** **expired**, return to the AnyDesk client and click **Refresh**.

If it still does not update, make sure the client is linked to the active license by **signing in with the licensed account** or **registering the correct**License Key.
