      GDPR and AnyDesk

       

      What is GDPR?

      GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is a comprehensive data privacy regulation in the European Union, designed to protect personal data of EU citizens and give them more control over their personal information. It replaces the previously fragmented data protection laws in EU Member States and applies to organizations operating within the EU and handling personal data. 

      What AnyDesk does for GDPR compliance?

      We have implemented technical and organizational measures to ensure that data processing complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

      AnyDesk complies with the following GDPR regulations:

      • Obligation to process personal data in a lawful, fair, and transparent manner.
      • Limitation of purpose for collecting and processing personal data.
      • Data minimization (only collecting the data necessary for the specified purpose).
      • Data accuracy and storage limitations.
      • Implementation of appropriate technical and organizational measures for data protection.
      • Obligation to notify data breaches to the supervisory authority and affected individuals.
      • Respect for individuals’ rights (such as right to access, right to be forgotten, etc.).

      How is my personal data protected at AnyDesk? 

      We take measures to ensure that the personal data we collect is necessary and relevant for the purposes it is collected and used for.
