On August 13, 2026, my.anydesk II transitioned to a new method of generating and validating API keys to enhance security.
What does this mean for you?
API keys generated before August 13, 2026, are deprecated and no longer function.
Existing API keys cannot be retrieved from your my.anydesk II portal.
Newly generated API keys have a maximum validity of 1 year.
How do I generate a new API key?
Log into your my.anydesk II portal.
In the upper-right corner of the page, click your account name and select My Profile.

In the API Keys section, old API keys will display as deprecated. Click Create API key.

Enter a name for the API key, select an expiration period (up to 1 year maximum), and click Generate.

Copy the generated API key and save it in a secure location. You will not be able to view or retrieve this key again after closing this window. Once saved, click Done.

The key will now appear in your API Keys list. The table displays the key name, creation date, expiration date, a truncated version of the key, and an option to delete it. The API key remains valid until it reaches its expiration date or is manually deleted.
