FAQ
Why is there an orange question mark next to my cursor?
An orange question mark next to the cursor means that AnyDesk cannot retrieve or understand the mouse cursor icon from the remote device you are connecting to.
This can be due to multiple reasons such as:
- The remote device has no mouse cursor
- No connected mouse
- Foreground application removed the mouse cursor (e.g. in video games)
- The remote device is showing a special mouse cursor
- Cursors that indicate specific actions (e.g. photo editing or 3D design software)
- Custom application-specific cursors (e.g. can be tied to 2a or in video games)
