FAQ
Do I need to install AnyDesk?
For desktop-based platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux), it is not necessary to install the AnyDesk client. In fact, the portable client can simply be run with a double-click and contains the vast majority of our features. Please see Installation and Portable vs Installed for more information.
Caution: By default, portable versions of the AnyDesk client will not have elevated privileges. This can lead to issues when interacting with applications or views that require administrative permissions.
Please see Administrative Privileges and Elevation (UAC) for more information.
